Hello everyone! My name is Gioele (for friends "Gio") and I AM THE SECOND AMATEUR RADIO OPERATOR of my dad (IZ2NAC-Alex).
My name is Gioele, I’m 15 years old and I’m attending a science high school. I live in the mountain town of Clusone, in the province of Bergamo, about 90 km from the metropolis of Milan, in Nord-Italy. I’ve hadthis passion since I was a child, but I was not yet aware of it.
I’m 15 years old and I’m attending a science high school. I live in the mountain town of Clusone, in the province of Bergamo, about 90 km from the metropolis of Milan, Italy. I’ve had this passion since I was a child, but I was not yet aware of it. Unfortunately, a year before I got into this beautiful hobbie, my dad sold everything including his radio, an Icom IC-746 and Utltrabeam’s dynamic 3-element antenna for all HF bands. Then, one day, I became fond of this intriguing pastime. My uncle (IW2LEW)(https://www.qrz.com/db/IW2LEW) and my dad helped me to understand the basics of radio and I slowly began to enter the world of amateur radio. My first radio was a Yaesu ft-897d, with a vertical magnetic antenna for VHF and UHF and a car dipole built for the 20 meter band. After a bit of practice (mostly listening), I started to make some QSO with digital modes (PSK-31, PSK-63, RTTY, SSTV, FT-8 and FT-4) with an antenna that I use now, ie, a multi band End Fed for 40,20,15 and 10 meters. After learning how to transmit with digital modes, I became passionate about the voice and I began to transmit, making the first QSO in SSB. Nowadays, my working conditions are an End Fed multiband antenna, a magentic antenna for VHF and UHF, a portable Moxon antenna built for 14Mhz and a Sotabeams antenna for 14/7 Mhz. My transceivers are: a Yaesu ft-897 and an Icom IC-7300. Since I live in the mountains, I really like to go hiking where I like to use my Yaesu ft-897 and my portable antennas. My QSL card represents the Fanzago clock of Clusone, famous all over the world for the simple fact that the lancett turn counter-clockwise and because it's very precise and besides marking the time it also shows in what year we are, the month in which we are and also the moon phase that there is at this exact moment!

Per chi volesse mi mandi la frequenza (possibilmente 80/40 metri, altrimenti anche i 20 metri vanno benissimo) e l'orario.
